We have four new smartphones from the OnePlus Nord Series namely Nord 2 5G (৳49,990 8/128 GB), CE 5G (৳37,990 8/128 GB), N10 5G (৳34,990) and Nord N100 (৳19,990). As you can see the first three phones are 5G supported and the last one is low-priced. It is the lowest-priced OnePlus phone ever released in the Bangladeshi market. Before that, OnePlus was known as the flagship killer.
Nord 2 5G
This one replaced the previously released OnePlus Nord which was also officially priced at ৳49,990 in Bangladesh. Here we are having a Gorilla Glass 5 front and back protection, a fine 6.43 inches Full HD* Fluid AMOLED display with HDR10+ and 90Hz refresh rate. On the back, we have a 50 MP main camera setup with OIS, an 8 MP ultrawide lens and 2 MP monochrome lens. On the front side, there is a 32 MP camera placed in the left punch-hole.
The 4500 mAh battery comes with 65W fast charging which can charge the phone 0 to 100% in just 30 minutes. There is a 6 nm MediaTek Dimensity 1200 5G chipset with 8 GB RAM and an optical in-display fingerprint sensor. No, OnePlus did not make any compromise in this one. It comes as a true 5G flagship killer well-suitable for 2021. However, point to be noted that there is no 3.5mm Jack or MicroSD slot like many other top-notch smartphones these days. There is Android 11 and we can expect an upgrade till Android 14.
Nord CE 5G
Now this one comes at a lower price compared to the previous one. Here we are not having any display or back protection as well as no HDR10+ supported display. The 64 MP main back camera is offering no OIS and the front one is a slightly lower quality 16 MP one. There is 30W fast charging but it can still charge 0 to 70% in 30 minutes. We are getting a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G 5G (8 nm) chipset with 8 GB RAM which is still an excellent deal for the price.
Nord N10 5G
The price goes down here a little more. We are having a Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the screen. But instead of Fluid AMOLED, we have a lower quality IPS LCD screen. There is Android 10 instead of 11, a slightly lower performance Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 5G (8 nm) chipset and 6 GB RAM. The good news is that we have a 3.5 mm jack and MicroSD slot here.
Nord N100
There is no 5G support here first of all and we didn’t expect it anyway for the price. It’s a very standard phone and somewhat overpriced in the current market competition you can say. Of course, we are getting the fine software of OnePlus which is something to consider. But if we look at the overall specifications, we can find a smartphone with similar specifications around ৳15,000. So, it’s probably not worth it at this point.
