The mobile market was going through a cycle of a depressive state because of the direct and indirect consequences of the global pandemic situation, economic and geopolitical matters as well as chip crisis. In the past months, we have seen a rise in price and specifications becoming poorer than the previous generation phones. It was the case for almost all top brands. The chipset used in the newer phones with the higher price was also upsetting a lot of mobile phone enthusiasts. When this situation was prevailing in the whole market, we found light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks to Realme for releasing Realme 9i which is one of those phones that gave a bold comeback.
Realme 9i is priced at ৳17,490 for the 4/64 GB version and the 6/128 GB version will cost you ৳19,490. The phone looks great. It comes with a fine and stylish design. On the display, we have got a Dragontail Pro Glass protection which is much appreciated. The display is a Full HD+ 90Hz one which is something you’d expect at this price point. There is a fine triple back camera setup with a 50MP main lens and on the front, we have a 16MP setup in the left punch-hole. Unfortunately, there is no 4K video recording option which is one of its major drawbacks.
Now comes the great part, battery and performance. We have a 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging which is excellent for the price. We have a fine 6 nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G chipset with 4 or 6 GB RAM options. There is fast UFS 2.1 64 or 128 GB internal storage options as well as a dedicated MicroSD slot and Dual SIM. This is great specs, especially in the current market situation. The audio side is featuring stereo speakers and 24-bit/192kHz audio. There is also a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Overall, we can say that the consumers may feel confident enough to get back to the market and check to get their newest smartphone.
