One of the recent smartphone releases from Oppo Mobile Bangladesh is Oppo A76. The device is priced at ৳19,990 for the 6/128 GB version.
The A-series phones from Oppo are quite successful in Bangladesh and have already built a reputation. In the case of the A76, it comes with a fine-looking design and gives a good first impression. We have a left punch-hole in the front, a stylish and minimal-looking backside. The fingerprint sensor is located on the side. Surprisingly we have an HD+ display here. We definitely would expect a Full HD+ display at this cost. It’s a big disadvantage of Oppo A76. We have a 90Hz refresh rate which is expected and in no way covers up the lack of Full HD+ quality.
On the bright side, we have a 5000 mAh battery and 33W fast charging. Having an HD+ screen instead of Full HD means the battery will be drained much slower. The 33W charging will charge it pretty fast also. So, if Full HD+ display quality is not a priority for you, rather longer battery life, faster charging combined with a fine performance, A76 can be a clever choice.
Speaking of performance, we have a relatively fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G (6 nm) chipset combined with 6 GB RAM and fast USF 2.1 128 GB ROM. These are good specs for mid-range gaming. There is also a dedicated MicroSD slot. The dual 13+2 MP back camera and 8 MP front camera are more on the average side. There is also no 4K video recording option.
Overall, we would say that Oppo A76 has a few charismatic facts, but in terms of value for money, it is behind. Phones like Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 or Realme 9i beats it easily and big time.
