Symphony Mobile Bangladesh brings a new low-cost smartphone in the market namely Symphony i80. The single model of this device is priced at ৳7,599.
The design of the phone gives a nice first impression. We have a typical waterdrop notch design but it looks somewhat stylish. The backside also looks quite decent and up to date especially if you consider the price. The display is 6.09 inches which makes it somewhat smaller compared to most smartphones nowadays. We mostly see phones with around 6.5 inches displays. But you may prefer a compact-sized phone like Symphony i80 as it is more comfortable to hold in the hand. Another fact is that the lower capacity 3450 mAh battery will provide better backup than you may think because of the smaller size of the display. The screen has an eye comfort or blue light filter feature which is very useful especially at night or in the dark.
The dual 8+2 MP back camera and the 8 MP front camera are quite fine. The back camera has a Sony sensor and a Full HD video recording option. The front camera comes with a display flash feature. We have Android 11 Go version. There is 2 GB RAM, 32 GB ROM, and up to 64 GB expandable MicroSD slot. However, we couldn’t find any information about the chipset in Symphony’s official source which is a bit of a disappointment. It can be a low-performance 28nm UniSOC chipset like most other phones around this price. It’s hard to expect any better at this cost, but it is also hard to recommend a phone with such a low-performance chipset.
Symphony i80 comes with a fingerprint sensor on the back, a Dual SIM option, a face unlock feature, OTG, and so on.
