Oppo Bangladesh launched Oppo F21 Pro with a big marketing campaign. The previous mid-range Oppo F series phones were also launched in similar manners. Oppo F21 Pro is priced at ৳27,990 and is available in Cosmic Black and Sunset Orange colors.
First of all, let us talk about the design. It is also one of the main focuses of the phone. One must say that it looks one of a kind, stylish, and elegant. Not only that, we have a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front, and a unique Fiberglass-Leather back also. So, fine design is combined with a strong build which is admirable. If the unique and fashionable outlook and strong build are some of your priorities, this is surely a device to consider.
We have a 6.43 inches Full HD+ 90Hz AMOLED display. So, nothing to complain about here at all. It’s a great mid-range smartphone screen, especially with the AMOLED quality. The backside has a triple camera setup with a 64MP main sensor. There is Full HD video recording with gyro-EIS but no 4K video recording option which is a disadvantage of the phone. The camera itself is fine for everyday photo shooting.
Now let us come to the 32 MP selfie camera. We have a Sony IMX709 sensor which enhances the quality of the photos. We can say that it is better than most mid-range selfie cameras out there right now. The video recording also has stabilization. So, if the front camera is also a priority for you in a mid-budget, you may think about it.
The 4500 mAh battery has 33W Fast Charging and Reverse Charging facilities. It’s also a good deal. But the chipset is where it gets a little low. Basically, the 6 nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G chipset is the compromise here. We have 8 GB RAM which is great, but a low-mid range phone like Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 is offering the same chipset at ৳18,999 with 6 GB RAM. When we come around the price of Oppo F21 Pro, Vivo V23e is a strong competitor with a more powerful Helio G96 chipset. It beats Oppo F21 Pro in overall specifications also with a fine 50MP front camera and 44W Fast Charging. Then we have Realme 8 Pro with an even more powerful Snapdragon 720G chipset and 50W Fast Charging.
So, we can say that, if strong performance, gaming, etc. are your priorities, you may find some better options at this price. If you are attracted by the design, build and selfie camera quality of Oppo F21 Pro, it is still a fine contemporary choice.
