Nokia Bangladesh gives a comeback with three new releases, Nokia G21, Nokia 1.4 and Nokia C2 2nd Edition. The devices are priced at ৳18,999, ৳11,999 and ৳8,499 respectively.

Nokia G21

G21 is the most advanced phone among these three. It comes with a nice-looking design, a waterdrop notch on the front and a triple camera setup on the back. There is no display protection like Gorilla Glass. The 6.5 inches IPS display is also offering just HD+ quality. Yes, there is no Full HD which you could very well expect at this price point and many phones are offering it. There is also just the standard 60Hz refresh rate. The body is made of plastic. So, in terms of display and build quality, it is pretty ordinary. It’s not bad and HD displays are often more smooth in the lower-price category. it is just a bit overpriced. The phone is 8.5mm thin and it weighs 190 grams so, it will be comfortable to hold in the hand.

The 50Mp main back camera is something that you can count on. With f/1.8 aperture and Nokia technology, it should give you decent shots. The 8 MP front camera could be a little better but you can record Full HD videos in both cameras.

We have a big 5050 mAh battery with 18W fast charging, Android 11 and Unisoc T606 chipset with 4 GB RAM. Now, this is a decent performance configuration. You could expect a more upgraded Unisoc T612 chipset. But Nokia hardware optimization is generally quite good and it should also get two or three further Android updates. Among other features, we got a dedicated MicroSD slot, 64 GB ROM, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C, market-dependent NFC, FM Radio with RDS, dual SIM and so on.

Nokia 1.4

This one comes with a fine and distinguished Nokia design as well. It’s pretty slim and lightweight. We have a 6.52 inches HD+ IPS display. The camera, however, doesn’t look good on the specs sheet. We have an 8+2 MP dual back camera and a 5 Mp front camera. Both can record HD videos only. No, it’s not something that we can recommend at this price point even though we are aware of the fact that the price of the phone has dramatically increased in recent times. The 4000 mAh battery has 10W charging, there is a very poor 28nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 chipset with a quad-core CPU. No, it’s a total no-go, even if it came under 10K budget, we wouldn’t recommend it and you will find phones with better configuration from other brands at this cost. Apart from the design and the adequate display, we can’t recommend this phone at all.

This one also comes as rather a disappointment. Just click on the link above right in the beginning and see the specs for yourself to know why we don’t even want to go through the specs in this article.
