We have yet another C series smartphone from Realme namely Realme C51. The device is priced at ৳15,999 for its 4/64 GB model and is available in Mint Green and Carbon Black colors.
The phone is just 8 mm slim and weighs 186 grams so, the slimness and weight are somewhat ideal. There is a U-shaped waterdrop notch on the front, it looks better and more up-to-date and also a bit more umami than the old V-shaped notch. On the back, we have a minimalistic glossy and matt finish.
The phone comes with a 6.74-inch HD+ 90Hz refresh rate screen. The peak brightness is 560 nits. You could expect a Full HD+ display but this is what we are getting. There is no screen protection as well.
There is a 50MP decent back camera with a 5 MP front camera. The back camera is okay, nothing too impressive but it will do the job just fine. However, the front camera could definitely be better.
The 5000 mAh battery comes with 33W fast charging which is one of its main features. It takes about 28 minutes to charge the phone from 0-50%. We have the lighter Realme UI T on top of the latest Android 13. The chipset is a Unisoc T612 one. This is not the ideal gaming chipset around this price. You would expect at least a Helio G85 chipset. It scores double (16) than the Unisoc T612 gaming score (8) according to Nanoreview.
Overall, the phone has a few good features but it remains behind in more important areas such as front camera and performance.
