Xiaomi announced the 2024 rockers Redmi Note 13 5G trio in India today. We have to mention “5G models” because some of these phones have 4G models as well, which are released elsewhere. These Indian 5G models will go on sale from 10th January 2024 and the prices are already announced. They are the following:
Models | Indian Rupee | Bangladeshi Taka* |
Redmi Note 13 |
₹17,999 ₹19,999 ₹21,999 |
৳23,700 ৳26,300 ৳29,000 |
Redmi Note 13 Pro |
₹25,999 ₹27,999 ₹29,999 |
৳34,300 ৳36,900 ৳39,500 |
Redmi Note 13 Pro+ |
₹31,999 ₹33,999 ₹35,999 |
৳42,200 ৳44,800 ৳47,500 |
The pricing in India and China is quite different, as it was expected. The Chinese prices are lower, but that’s because Xiaomi has headquarters in China so, that’s how it should be. But we have noticed a few differences in the Indian models. Let us mention them to you.
Redmi Note 13 5G
While the China variant of this device has no ultrawide lens for the rear camera, the Indian model includes an 8 MP additional ultrawide lens. This is, of course, highly appreciated. Notice the difference in the camera module below:
We also have a very fancy, luxurious-looking Prism Gold color. But the blue color isn’t available.
Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G
Here we are not seeing any visible change or change in specifications except just one. The blue color is also removed here.
Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G
Here we haven’t noticed any change as well. But the special Camo Green Edition isn’t available in India. This could be because Xiaomi partnered with the brand Aape to make that special Edition which is a Chinese brand so, it’s sort of logical that they couldn’t make the same production for India.
There is one more change in all three models and they are that Xiaomi is delivering their new HyperOS UI right out of the box. The China versions have MIUI 14 and they may receive HyperOS in the future but that’s not confirmed yet.
