Samsung’s new flagship devices Galaxy S22 Ultra and Galaxy S22+ hit the Bangladeshi market in February 2022. Galaxy S22 Ultra is priced at ৳143,999 (12/ 256 GB version) and the S22+ is available at ৳114,999 (8/256 GB version). There is also a lower-budget release namely Galaxy A03 Core priced at ৳9,699.
Galaxy S22 Ultra
The big news about this phone is that it comes with a Stylus pen. So, now you can use the flagship Galaxy S series phone like a Galaxy Note. It’s a big merge. Samsung may as well discontinue the Note series altogether from this year which is great. We now have the flagship S series and the foldable options. It looks much more suitable for a simplified futuristic vision. So, what are some other differences and upgrades compared to the last year’s Galaxy S21 Ultra?
We have a stronger build with more powerful protection altogether. It makes the phone physically more durable than the previous generation one. It comes with Android 12 out of the box and One UI 4.1 so, the software is upgraded as well. We have a faster 4 nm chipset, some of the fastest you can get in the current market in 2022 and higher graphics with the new Adreno 730 GPU. Finally, we have got a real 45W fast charging option. Last year it was just 25W and many were disappointed with that feature. These are pretty much the big updates in S22 Ultra.
Galaxy S22+
Now the S22+ compared to the Ultra version has a few less or downgraded features because of the lower price tag. We have lower RAM and ROM so, the performance and storage are reduced, but still great because we have the same chipset. But there is no MicroSD slot so, you should be sure that 128 GB is enough storage for you long-term. Both front and back camera quality is compromised as well. We have a 50 MP main back camera and 10 MP front camera instead of 108 MP and 40 MP of the Ultra version. The battery is also a lower 4500 mAh one and finally, there is no Stylus in S22+. If you see the difference in pricing, Galaxy S22 Ultra is still a way better choice altogether.
Galaxy A03 Core
Samsung remains behind in the low-budget segment. This phone comes with a poor 28 nm Unisoc SC9863A chipset and 2 GB RAM. This is a pure performance disappointment. You can get a much better phone from Symphony Bangladesh and a few other brands at this price than Galaxy A03 Core. Even though it has Samsung’s optimized Software combined with the Android 11 Go version, we will not recommend it to the consumers.
