The phone comes with a 6 nm MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G chipset. Last year we had the 8 nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G 5G chipset. According to Nanoreview MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G performs better in CPU, gaming and battery life than Snapdragon 750G. So, this is a very strong upgrade considering the performance. Then we have a blazing fast 65W fast charging. Last year we had a more regular 30W fast charging. So, this will reduce charging time at a significantly lower level. We also have a dedicated MicroSD slot now compared to no MicroSD slot in the first-gen. Nord CE. The display also has a Gorilla Glass 5 protection. So, overall, we are very satisfied with the new upgrades and lower pricing. With this, OnePlus comes back strongly in the high-mid range sector and currently this is one of the most competitive smartphones you can get for the price.
