One of the brands that significantly increased their market share last year in Bangladesh is Vivo. When brands like Xiaomi and Realme couldn’t give much strong impression last year, Vivo gained popularity among the consumers with a few nice releases. This year the release continues with the new Vivo Y21T which is similar to the last year’s successful Vivo Y21. Vivo Y21T is priced at ৳17,990 and only 4/128 GB version is available in Bangladesh as of now.
We have a regular waterdrop notch in the front but the design still looks quite nice for some reason. We figured out that this is one of the main specialties of Vivo. It’s simple but unique and attractive. Now, the display is an HD+ one and you will get a Full HD+ display at this price from many other brands. So, this is a clear disadvantage here. But the HD+ display will provide you with a longer battery backup with the 5000 mAh battery. There is a fine 18W charging as well. So, it is cleverly balanced in a way, but still, we will give better marks to the other phones coming with Full HD+ display as it provides with much better viewing experience.
We have the new 6 nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G chipset. It is a fine choice for gaming at this price. You could expect 6 GB RAM, but 4 GB is somewhat fair for the cost and with the upgraded chipset. There is a 50 MP f/1.8 main back camera as well which is great. We also have a stylish side-mounted fingerprint sensor and reverse charging facility. So overall, it is a quite nice phone for the price, but if you are a specification geek, you will find some better options from other brands right now at this price.
