Samsung Bangladesh introduces Galaxy A53 5G as a new generation 5G smartphone with a lower cost compared to its flagship 5G handset options. Galaxy A53 5G is priced at ৳43,999 and there is only the 8/128 GB version for the moment.
Now, why is this phone different than the previous 5G phones from Samsung? First of all, the design looks premium at a lower cost. It can be compared with some of its flagship phone designs. We have Gorilla Glass 5 protection and an IP57 certified waterproof body. The 6.5 inches Full HD+ AMOLED display is offering up to 120Hz refresh rate. The 64 MP main back camera has features like optical image stabilization and the ultrawide camera is an upgraded 12MP one. We have a strong 32 MP front camera and both cameras can record 4K videos.
The 5000 mAh battery comes with 25W charging. It’s more on the slower side, yes and a drawback of the phone. The chipset is a 5 nm Exynos 1280 one which is not comparable to a flagship chipset even though 5 nm sounds appealing. Even if you compare it with a more high-mid range chipset like Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G, Qualcomm scores way better. According to nanoreview, Exynos 1280 gets an overall score of 55 whereas Snapdragon 778G gets an score of 63. So, you would definitely find better performance smartphones with 5G support even at a lower price. OnePlus Nord 2 5G, Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE and Realme GT Neo2 are some of its strong competitors.
