Vivo V23e: A powerful mid-range 4G phone

Vivo V23e teaser

One of the recent releases from Vivo Bangladesh is Vivo V23e. It is a mid-range phone priced at ৳27,990. Vivo is one of the most popular brands in Bangladesh these days. So, let’s see what this phone has to offer.

First of all, there is no 5G connectivity. It may be a disadvantage for many since 5G availability across the country is planned very soon which will help users to get much faster internet connectivity. Right now, there are very few mid-range 5G phones available in Bangladesh. We have Xiaomi Poco M3 Pro 5G and Realme 8 5G that comes at a lower price than Vivo V23e and offers 5G connectivity, so, you may be interested to check them out.

Vivo V23e comes with a fine 6.44 Full HD+ AMOLED display. However, there is no display protection or 90Hz refresh rate. Some phones around this price or even at a lower price are offering a 120Hz refresh rate, so, it’s a disadvantage. There is also no FM Radio, 3.5mm Jack, or NFC which are some of its other drawbacks.

Now let’s come to the positive and stronger parts of the phone. There is a very fine back camera with a 64MP main sensor and a powerful 50Mp front camera. Both cameras are supporting a 4K video recording facility. We have a fair 4050 mAh battery and a powerful 44W fast charging. We have a decent Mediatek Helio G96 (12 nm) chipset with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM. You could expect a better chipset for the price but 8 GB RAM will cover up some of the disappointment. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor and 24-bit/192kHz audio which are some of its other fine features.
