Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S is the newest member of Xiaomi smartphones in Bangladesh. The device is priced at ৳27,999 for the 6/128 GB model and ৳29,999 for the 8/128 GB version.
Redmi Note 11S comes just after the release of Redmi Note 11 which is currently one of the most popular smartphones in Bangladesh. Redmi Note 11 is priced at ৳16,499 4/64 GB, ৳17,499 4/128 GB, and ৳18,999 6/128 GB. So, compared to that, the S version is priced much higher. Both phones have very identical specifications. In fact, the size of the phone, the weight, display, design, connectivity, software, audio, security, and sensors, are all the same in both phones. So, what are the differences?
Firstly, Redmi Note 11S comes with a better 108 MP back camera and a slightly upgraded 16 MP front camera also. So, you will see some fine improvements in the camera section. But there is still no 4K video recording option which is quite a disappointment considering the cost of the phone. Then we have an upgraded Mediatek Helio G96 chipset with 6 and 8 GB ROM options. This is a fine update compared to Note 11 but again Helio G96 isn’t the finest chipset for the price.
So, we have some major updates here as it has to do with the camera and chipset, but we must say that the device is pretty much overpriced especially when compared to Redmi Note 11. You will definitely find some other fine options from different brands with better chipsets and cameras.
