Pricing

There are three versions of Redmi Note 11 available in Bangladesh which are priced at ৳16,499 (4/64 GB), ৳17,499 (4/128 GB), and ৳18,999 (6/128 GB) respectively. Considering its features and specifications, it is one of the best value for money phones on the market right now.

Design & Build

Redmi Note 11 doesn’t look too different than the Redmi Note 10 series phones. The back camera setup is slightly changed and looks a bit more upgraded. We have a nice center punch-hole camera design on the front. Bezels are very thin on the side but a bit thicker at the bottom. We have a Gorilla Glass 3 on the front, IP53 certified splash-protected body (which can stand light rain, etc., a plastic body, and sort of a matt finish on the back which doesn’t catch fingerprints easily. The body is made fully of plastic. It is 8.1mm thin and the weight is 179 grams which should give a moderate and decent feeling while holding in the hand. Considering the price, overall, it’s a pretty fine deal. Especially the Gorilla Glass protection and splash-proof body are some very fine advantages.

Display

We have a Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and as mentioned earlier, with a 3rd gen. Gorilla Glass. It simply can’t get better than this at this price. You will find many high mid-range phones are coming with such display specs and around this price, many phones are still offering HD+ IPS display with a regular 60Hz refresh rate with no screen protection. Redmi Note 11 definitely outplayed all of its competitors in terms of design, build, and display.

Camera

Both front and back cameras are mostly just fine. It’s not super impressive or anything over the top. We don’t have any 4K video recording option and the video stabilization isn’t that good either. But the photo qualities are alright. You will get sharp and vivid photos in good lighting conditions. You may see a bit of a color burst sometimes. Apart from that, they are quite ok. The camera is not its best feature, but it will do the job.

Network and connectivity

In terms of network and connectivity, we couldn’t find anything to complain about. Yes, 5G is missing, but it’s not wise to expect 5G connectivity at the moment around this price. We have features like FM Radio, NFC, and Infrared that are some pretty fine positives or some bonuses we can say.

Software

We have MIUI 13. There were some complaints with MIUI 12 and according to Xiaomi they have fixed most of those issues and are still working on it. We have personally used the latest MIUI and we are mostly satisfied. There was no big issue that disrupts the regular everyday experience with the phone.

There is Android 11 and most probably we will have an Android 12 update in the future. But we can’t confirm it right now. We have used many Xiaomi phones, and in terms of software experience, we can say it’s mostly smooth, secure, and up to date.

Battery

There is a 5000 mAh battery with 33W Quick Charge 3+ Fast Charging. The device will charge from 0 to 100% in just about one hour. It’s a very good and impressive deal for the cost. It’s one of those deals when you feel the butterfly in your stomach.

Performance

Yes, and the performance extends that nice feeling with the battery. We have the new 6 nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G chipset. It is not blazing fast but many mid-range phones are using it. If you get it with 6 GB RAM, there should not be any trouble at all in terms of gaming. With 4 GB, you may have a frame drop here and there while playing more resource-intensive games, but it should still be smooth altogether.

Storage

There are 64 or 128 GB fast UFS 2.2 storage options with a dedicated MicroSD slot. That’s another pretty impressive deal to have a UFS 2.2 storage than the regular and slower eMMC 5.1 storage. We also have a dedicated slot, excellent.

Sound Quality

We have 24-bit/192kHz audio and stereo speakers for an enhanced audio experience. Most phones around this price don’t have these features. So, another boost for this gadget.

Security & Sensors

We have a nice and responsive side-mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlock feature, and all the regular sensors such as G-sensor, Gyroscope, Proximity, and Compass.

Conclusion

If you see all the facts mentioned above, you see why Redmi Note 11 is one of the best releases of 2022. It is a little bit on the average side when it comes to the camera, especially with the video recording option. But still, the photo quality is quite nice when compared to most of its competitors. The body is also made of plastic and we wish to see natural material instead of it, but it’s not available at this moment in any phone around this cost.

So, do we recommend Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 to the consumers? Yes, definitely.
