Pricing
There is just a single version of Realme Narzo 50 available in Bangladesh right now which is priced at ৳16,499 (4/64 GB). Considering its features and technical specifications, this phone is one of the finest value for money phones on the market right now.
Design & Build
Narzo 50 is a relatively big phone with its 6.6 inches screen. The backside has a sporty look to it. The color names (Speed Blue, Speed Black) represent the idea of sports or gaming as well. It is just 8.5mm thin and weighs 194 grams. There is no display protection or any kind of official water or splash proof certification so, it is a bit weak in terms of its build quality. The design looks fairly nice especially if you are a mobile gaming fan, but nothing more than that.
Display
We have a Full HD+ IPS LCD display. It is not AMOLED so, its slightly dissapointing, but most phones around this price are still coming with just HD+ display, so, Full HD+ is an advantage already. On top of that, we have 120Hz refresh rate, which is simply awesome. Also, because of the powerful chipset, you will not have any lag feeling with Full HD quality.
Camera
Both front and back cameras are pretty good for the expense of the phone. We have seen camera samples of the phone in daylight and in night time and they look quite satisfactory. Especially in good light, you can expect clear, sharp and vivid photos with natural colors in both cameras. There is no 4K video recording though which is one of its drawbacks.
Network and connectivity
In terms of network and connectivity, there isn’t much to complain about except that we don’t have FM Radio and NFC. There is also no 5G but it’s not smart to expect 5G support at this price range right now.
Software
We have Realme UI 2.0 with Android 11 and perhaps there can be an Android 12 update in the future but it’s not sure at the moment. The software part should mostly give you a smooth and optimized experience. There is no major bug that we know of.
Battery
There is a 5000 mAh battery with 33W Fast Charging. Quite impressive from Realme to offer a 33W chaging facility at this cost. You can be quite satisfied with the battery section.

Performance
Performance is definitely the strongest point of Realme Narzo 50. There is no smartphone in the market right now that can beat this phone in terms of performance at this price. In fact, this is probably the best performance phone of all time at the lowest possible price in Bangladesh. We have a MediaTek Helio G96 chipset which is used in mid-range phones that will often cost you over ৳10,000 more than Narzo 50. Now, you may say, well, it is still a MediaTek chipset. But if you compare it with mid-range superstar Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G, you will see the difference in performance isn’t that big. Moreover, Snapdragon 732G is rarely used in mid-range phones and we see it mostly in high-mid range phones. We have mid-range Motorola Moto G60 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro, but the price is starting from ৳25,999. So, there is no comparison with Realme here at all. But this is just to give you an idea about the performance level of Narzo 50 with MediaTek’s Helio G96 considering the cost of the phone.
Storage
There is 64 GB fast UFS 2.1 storage option with a dedicated MicroSD slot. It is pretty nice to have a UFS 2.1 storage than the regular and slower eMMC 5.1 storage. We also have a dedicated MicroSD slot.
Sound Quality
Sound quality of this phone isn’t perticularty special. There is no stereo speakers etc. but, it is pretty clear quality.
Security & Sensors
We have a responsive side-mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlock feature, and all the regular sensors such as G-sensor, Gyroscope, Proximity, and Compass.
Conclusion
The fact that makes Realme Narzo 50 a special phone is its performance for a rediculously lower price. We also have a Full HD+ display, nice cameras, powerful charging and a sporty looking design. It’s still not equivalant to a mid-range phone because we have only 4 GB RAM, no 4K video recording, even no display protection or an AMOLED display. But if we compare it with other phones in the price range, Narzo 50 stands up high in the crowd.
