We have the new Oppo F21 Pro 5G version. A few months ago we had the regular mid-range Oppo F21 Pro version released in the market. The new 5G version is priced at ৳37,990 and is available in Rainbow Spectrum and Cosmic Black colors.
Obviously, the major advantage of this phone is that it supports 5G connectivity. But let’s start with the design. We have a Schott Xensation glass protection on the front as well as an IPX4 certified dust and waterproof body. Now, this is great at this price range. The backside looks elegant and stylish but it is plastic made. Still, it gets a pretty good mark in terms of design and build quality. We have a 6.43 inches Full HD+ AMOLED display with no fancy 90Hz or 120Hz refresh rate. But the AMOLED panel deserves a compliment.
There is Android 12 and a 6 nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM. It’s a decent performance configuration but you could expect something a bit faster for the price. Still, it is a decent choice. We have a 4500 mAh battery with 33W charging. So, basically, it is a standard mid-range performance configuration but with a 5G facility.
The 64 MP main camera and the 16 MP front camera are nothing special. They are rather on the downside given that it has no 4K recording as well. There is no OIS or any ultrawide lens and two standard 2 MP macro lenses and depth sensors. There is a fine in-display fingerprint sensor which makes it Pro on the surface. So, if you want a nice design with good build quality with 5G support and fairly decent performance, Oppo F21 Pro 5G can still be an adequate choice at this price range.
